What is a keloid scar? Its a raised reddish nodule that develops at the site of an injury. When the scar heals, the body continues to produce tissue even though the scar is healed, which in turn causes the scar to project past the original site of the injury. I am a member of the ten percent of the population that suffers from these scars. Anyone that has them can agree that the symptoms include: itchiness, redness, unusual sensations and even pain. What I was interested in knowing is how many people on mylot have the same problem.
