Lust? Of course. Love? Not really.
You can't really love a person if you've seen her/him only once. That's lust. When you get to know her/him, then you can call it love. You can't know if the person in question is what you he/she is.
Is love forever? Maybe. Maybe not. I believe that love is forever in family situations. Mother-son love is, for example, a love that lasts forever.
And you know you've found love when the person you love loves you back ;)

Hmmm. At first site? Probably not. But it has seemed to me in long observation that generally men tend to be drawn lustfully at first, then come to care for that person. And women tend to get to know and like someone, which initiates the lust. And there are many people where that is the reverse. No, if you think you love someone at first site, you are probably imagining qualities you wish to see, but I think sometimes it doesn't take long at all to get a root sense of who thhat person is. And sometimes we think for years we knew someone, and find it was a fantasy.

Lust at first sight, of course. Happens all the time. Love at first sight...doubt it...love forever...you never know. I have been in love, but I am alone now. don't worry about the forever part, just be happy when you can find love, and enjoy every minute of it.

Yes definately, I have experienced this and had a relationship with this person for 18 years, but is love enough, you must also have to like this person. We actually grew apart but for others I think if they work at a relationship they can grow together. Think sometime love and lust can get confused. Ellie :)

Sometimes it is is down to fate. Most of us will end up not being together with the one that you love most. A lot comes from the decision, fate and considerations of finding your life/love partner. Some can be a great lover but not a good wife/husband and some great wife/husband are not a good lover.
Commitments plays a role too.

In my pat young age Yes, firt sight having a feeling that cannnot be explained it. You doing a simple ways to search him and know the likes to make a be yours, hehehe but in real he;s having one treasure lady or woman. I think this crush only not totally love. Because now i have a husband hes's not handsome but he's very protective to me. Fights the good for me. Take you hart to the situation that you take it in your life......

I am gonna tell you what, I am not sure what I was feeling at the time, but when I met my fiance we were both 13-14,it was middle school,7th grade.We were in the same classes.I knew the day I met him that I would love him some day.Of course he didn't give me the time of day...but 15 years later, we reunited on the web.Talked on the phone for 4 months before meeting in person again, and let me tell you it was LOVE at first sight when we finally did!!! I can't picture myself growing old with anyone else.

All that googly stuff at first is nothing but lust. I don't believe love is a feeling. It's putting someone else's needs and wants before your own. When two people do that for eachother, it will last forever. When it's one sided, who knows how long it will last.

Well I believe in attraction at first sight. Doesn't mean it's love. And even if you end up in a loving kind of relationship doesn't mean it is love unless it stands the tests of time and experience. I think we live in a society that uses that word love far to loosely without really understanding how to love and accept oneself let alone another.
Especially when you look at the high percentage of divorce rate, which is 50% for first marriages and it goes up from there. The more times you get married the higher the risk of divorce.

There is no such thing as love at first sight you might be attracted on the first time you've met but probably not love because love can be develop in due time it will take time before you can tell that you love the person and always remember that only TIME is capable of telling such a great love!

Yes I beleive you can fall in love with someone the first time you see them, it has happenned to me. I do think love lasts forever, but being in love does not-that's when you can love your ex but don't want to be with em.

How do you know well you have a feeling deep within you that nobody or nothing can shake.
How does it feel love at first sight well how does it feel to you, that is the answer.
