Have you baby sitted for a friend and things just go wrong?

I've just looked after a girlfriend house + 3 kids and the first day was fine but at night while my daughters in the bath the power goes off-and the house in on acreage and its pitch black-got that sorted in 10 minutes luckily.The next day after dropping off my daughter to go to her grandfathers birthday,I got back to the house and one of the kids had thrown up and had a sore stomach.I told her that when I'd pick up my daughter at dinner time I'd get something for her from the chemist.When I went to pick up my daughter that night and stopped to get medicine -my car wouldnt start.I was stuck for an hour before I got it going again.When I had returned to the house with my daughter I couldnt cook the chicken cause the gas had run out.Stay with me I'm nearly finished....This morning we got up and it had been pouring all night and the other daughters uniform was soaked.I spent 20 minutes with a hair dryer and iron to dry them but we still didnt make it to her bus in time to to take her to school.I ended up driving her to school and my daughter was late for school.Whew! I'm glad to be home.Tell me your story,I'd love to hear it.
