where you let your dog sleep on?

When my boyfriend and I first adopted our dog we decided that she would not be allowed to sleep in our bed but could sleep in our room. She whined for about 20 minutes that first night until I let her on the bed. SHe's now 55 pounds and a huge addition to a queen sized bed filled with two people. Last summer our ac broke and it was insanely hot so we kept having to push her out of the bed. Some nights she takes up the whole bed and I'm tempted to go sleep on the couch. Some nights she sleeps on the couch herself. My boyfriend wants a no bed policy but we're not very strict in inforcing it. We'll see how it goes but bed it is, for now anyways!

My dog is a rescue dog and was well trained when he arrived. He would not try to get on the bed or any of the furniture and I think this is the best way. He has plenty of beds around the house, and he likes to sleep in our room so he knows where we are.

before i was pregnant, our dog share our bed. When i was preg, he was banished fm our bedroom, including the bed haha~ Now my dog sleeps everywhere in the house.

Our chihuahua sleeps on the bed with us but our black mouth cur has a doggie pillow beside the bed that he sleeps on.

My dogs, two daschunds, usually sleep on the bed with my husband and I. In the winter they always sleep in bed with us, under the covers. In the summer they must get too hot because they tend to sleep on the floor in their own beds.

our dogs stay at our backyard. my mom dont want them minside the house. but my aunt in canada lets her dog sleep on her bed. its kinda cool though because whenever the clock hits 6am prince (my aunts dog, forgot what breed he is) goes to my room and starts licking my face wet with his saliva. hahaha.. thinking about it makes me laugh but during that time i would get really infuriated.

Our dog sleeps in the bed between my husband and I. My dog slept with me before I met my husband, so with me came my dog and him sleeping with me was part of the deal. lol Luckily my husband loves Rascal as much as I do :)

Make that dogs, we have 2 wonderful labs, they sleep in bed with us or on the floor next to us, it is their choice. Usually they make the right choice - in the winter in bed to keep me warm and in the warmer weather on the floor- because they still want to be be with us but it is just too warm. We are in total agreement, our guys are part of the family.

I always let my dog sleep on my bed.I clean it everyday.When i take a bath,i will bring it to the bathroom too and give him a bath.So it is clean all the time.I love him very much.

Hello sallyxu126, i have a puppy just 8 months, and i let her sleep in her house just right behind my house door. I think i won't allow her to sleep together with me, and i think my wife also won't agree to allow my puppy to sleep together with us. Because its quite hard to control the cleaness of my room.

They sleep on the bed or floor. Basically their choice and it doesn't bother my husband. I love it when my dogs are in bed with me. They love to cuddle.

My puppy sleeps on his favorite pillows and blankets. He's so cute! I tried training him to sleep on my bed but that hasn't worked yet.

My dog sleeps next to my bed. He sometimes jumps up on the bed and curls up with me but I have a water bed and I think it gets too warm for him so being the loyal friend that he is he sleeps right by the side of the bed.

I got my dog last year as an abused dog. His name is buddy and he sleeps where ever he wants. I bought this expensive bed for him and will only sleep in a $8.00 laundery basket .
