Would you were pink gloves if you're a guy?

Ok this is quite funny but the arguement lasted till night. Me and my co-worker was doing some yardwork & landscaping today. It's our first client for the season so we're quite excited and pumped. When we get to the area we started doing the garden as requested by the client. Then my partner asked if I have spare gardening gloves for him. He was to excited he forgot to bring his. I told him I only have 1 pair. The lady cliend offered to lend us her gardening gloves. When I saw it, it was pink with floral designs. When my partner saw it, he declined and told me he can't work with it. The size is ok but he said it's floral & pink. I told him there's no big deal. He said he'd rather go home and get his gloves which is really silly because it's 30min ride & I hate delays specially for our first client of the season. So I just lend him my gloves & used the pink floral gloves myself. After we've finished, I asked my friend what's the deal with the pink gloves. He told me it's kinda gay. I told him well it doesn't make you gay just using it. I told him if he's homophobic or what. He told me he's not. He just doesn't want other people to think he's gay. Anyways. we're cool but i just thought he's being silly thinking that way.
