I heard that liquid diets really help you lose weight. I wasnt sure if this was accurate but I would like to try it. I would think of you just ate soup, drinks, and other liquid foods you would lose weight. Does anyone have any information about this?

I would suggest you Lily, to take advice from a qualified physician before trying it. I am not discouraging you to try it, just make it sure that it's properly planned and will not be harmful to you. Liquid diet has some health issues. What i have come to know is that most of the physicians do not recommend it unless there is a specific purpose. Though, initially it helps lose weight but down the road your energy level will fall. further continuation can in fact cause weight to increase. There is also chances of losing essential nutrients thus damaging your immune system in the long run. So instead of helping you, it may eventually damage your health. So i would strongly suggest to take advice from a proper physician. In the mean while i would suggest you to increase your normal water (H2O) intake with your normal diet. It will not only cleanse the impurities more effectively, giving advantage in terms of losing weight and improving overall health, but it will also help you maintain your mental as well emotional health and composure. Studies have shown that more water intake keeps the brain work at it's optimum. So best of luck:-)

That does work, I had a tooth pulled out last week and only ate soup and liquids and I lost 8 pounds in 3 days. But believe me once my tooth healed I had to eat real food, I love food. The weight hasnt come back on either. Hope this helps you out. Let me know how you do.

you should be keeping track of the liquid you intake since others have also high sugar or calories, and if you drink too much, might be substitute to a full meal.
