Who do you consider family? Those related by blood or those you choose... .... i have an aunt that isn't really my aunt, and i have always been told the family that you choose is the family you love, blood related or not.

Yes, I agree. There are people that I consider to be my family even though we are not related by blood. I think that anyone can be family, blood relatives or just those who we're really close to. There is a couple who are really good friends of ours, and I've accidentally started to call them aunt and uncle before cause I forget that they're not "technically" in my family. lol

a true family is the that cares for you, concern about your health and be there for you when you need them. The opposite are the one that only there for you when they need your help, the one that hates you when you didnt give them and not trying to help you when you need them.

I have a great family..who is biologically my family. But I also have some really wonderful friends who are also my family. Who ever it was that told you that your family is who you choose to love is correct. I have a number of those "family members" in my life and it is just as if they really are my family. One of my best friends is just like my sister and therefore, my kids call her their aunt...just as her daughter calls me aunt. I believe that it doesn't matter if we are blood related or not..it is what is in our hearts that matter.
