Do you buy food when you go hungry while at the airport or do you see to it that you eat first before you go to the airport? I have this knack of bringing small snacks with me when I go to the airport and then I don't get to eat them because when I get to the airport, I would easily get lured by the smell of freshly brewed coffee and fresh donuts! LOL What about you?

I don't drink coffee so the coffee smell doesn't bother me at all. I always load up my purse when I go to the airport with all kinds of good things to eat. You know snack bars and such. None of the things they have to offer at the airport entices me.

Also I don't like the very high prices they charge for their food.

I was stuck in the airport all day today with my toddler coz we were flying on standby and the flights were all overbooked.
Anyways, like you, I bring snacks for my toddler and some fruits like grapes or bananas. But the whole day in the airport is quite hard on a toddler so I end up buying her pizza and some smoothies. It is a money pit, especially the wing that we were in...there was no Chick Fil A or McDonalds...just all restaurants. And then I have to keep on buying bottled water coz you can't bring it in after you pass thru security and a small bottled water cost me almost $3 which is outrageous...but what can I do. I don't want to get out and then come thru the security again.
