have ever thought that will yahoo and google be a joint venture or its not the need of the hour. if suppose they merge what do you think who will be benefited more the user or the software gaints?? will they ever be like or just try to gain the supremacy over the internet in coming years..

I personally can't see them merging - especially as they'd make more money being separate.
It wasn't that long ago that Alta Vista was the premier search engine and Yahoo came on the scene and everyone was talking about a possible merger there that never happened.
