The pursuit of visiting sites where people have suffered or died in tragic circumstances is becoming increasingly popular nowadays. Have you ever been to a world war battle field, the site of 9/11 terrorist attacks in NY, or military cemetery? I've been to a holocaust museum in Nanjing when I was about 14 or 15. I was greatly shocked by the photos of the ruins and the victims. Back then I had never thought this kind of dark tourism would become popular now. What do you think is the reason behind it?Why do people today want to get so close to death? And could you tell me about your experience?
