Do you believe in it? As for me i think otherwise. I need to know a person more than once to form an opinion about them because first impression can often be misleading. What say you?

I 100% agree with you. I find that some of my now closest friends were frictional people in the beginning. I have come to love honest people after having my heart broken by fake friends who fed my insecurities as well as their own. Honesty is hard to come by and not always a wanted thing. I too have dear friends who told me that upon first impression they despised me.
Also a strange thing I have noticed in my years is that many times the people who gave me the best first impressions were unreal and sometimes even back-stabbing or slanderous. They played nice to my face from day one only to play mean spiritedly behind my back for longer than I would care to admit. Manipulative people insecure about stating their true opinions/feelings in the open are prone to gossip and bad behavior. Many of my best friends now are the ones with the worst first impressions. They are the ones who actually cared enough to be honest we me right up front. That tells me they are my real and true friends.
