i think so it is harmful in one way or another way. if we take antibiotic it will help for that time but its side effect will come latter. i will give an example my uncle got heart attack on 2002 from that own wards he is taking ecoderine one tablet for heart attack. after 5years he got ulcer due to the medicine now he is not taking that medicine. So we have to carefull while we take antibiotics

The most general side-effects of antibiotics include nausea, diarrhea, and an increased sensitivity to sunlight. Although most side-effects may be mild in appearance, some may be severe like allergic reactions and it may even be life-threatening allergic reactions.
Although antiobiotics main purpose is to kill all harmful bacteria, it is unfortunately a fact that they also target bacteria that are necessary for your body. Here we talk of the bacterial balance in the body and when this balance is thus disturbed, the results are stomach upset, diarrhea and other minor infections.

It isn't so much the antibiotic that's bad for "our" bodies, it's the fact that a lot of people don't finish the medication which of course makes the antibiotic less effective and basically opens the door for other diseases...
