Wanting money makes one an extremely greedy person. You have to be selfish, self-centred, calculative and uncaring to amass a lot of money. Why are we not contented with what we have?

Actually, Greed is the root of all evil. Greed is what makes us want more than what we already have and less thankful for the things that we need to cherish now. But then again, money is the root of all greed. It accomplishes many great aspects and comforts when we have a lot of greed and it cause destruction...

I learnt a bitter lesson. I am fortunate enough to inherit much money from my mum but due to my distructive habit I gamble away the money. I am left with zero now but still in the comfortable zone. Thinking back, how foolish I am to ignore my spiritual being, I have fully repented and back on the right tract, a born again christian.

Please don't mind me asking but what are you doin here on mylot I mean to say what is your prime goal in joining this site? Are you not here for money? One thing more it is not the money that makes us greedy but our own intentions are responsible for it.

I got into mylot by accident. Out of curiousity i peep into it and found the discussions interesting more so you make and share your opinion globally. With mylot I made many new
friends which I never expected. If I did not join mylot my circle of friends are limited to the people around me here. I treasure friendship and the incentives offered by mylot is a BONUS. Would't you be inspired this way?

Yes!! indeed wanting money is an act of being greedy.... but hey!!!!
for example: if you are a beggar, will you be contented of what you have? hey!!! how will you live?
persons who are contented of what they have is extremely LAZY persons!!!
we must not be contented, but we must set goal to the highest it can possibly reach to attain success

success means differently to different people. There's nothing evil about being financially secure but can we be happy at the same time if we neglect our spiritual welfare. Striving a balance between saving for the future and taking care of our spiritual welbeing while living in the present can be hard.
