money is nothing but trouble. you either got it or you dont. there is no middle ground. at least not over here!! my bills are all staring me down. my husband works his a** off, working about 50-60 hours a week. i work for the newspaper out of my home. i would have to get three jobs to pay for childcare for 4 kids. i dont get paid much but what i do get paid, pays for at least a few bills or groceries and gas. something..ya know. but for some reason, we are stupid and have too many credit cards. they are the work of the devil. even if you know what to do with them, meaning not use more than you can afford, somehow it always creeps up on you. my husband was out of work for 8 weeks following our car accident so we are still trying to pull ourselves out of this huge hole that money created for us. money sucks...when you dont have it. the root of all of my stress, or at least 90% of my stress, is caused by money and money alone. and the dumb people that say...well money doesnt buy happiness...they are idiots. it may not buy true happiness..but it sure does help. i always find that i am in a much better mood when all the bills are paid and there is money left over. even if it is only a few bucks. anyone else feel the same way?

I understand what you are saying. There was a time that I would get stressed because I wasn't able to pay all my bills on time. It felt like I was working for nothing. I felt like that wasn't fair. One day I decide to go through our bills to figure out ways that I could cut the expenses down. I saved $100 just by combineing the phone, cable, and internet bill. I don't buy any name brand products unless they are cheaper then the generics because of being on sale. I ask myself before buying anything if I really need it or if I just want the item. I pay cash for everything. I don't even have a credit card to be tempted with. By my learning to do things this way I have saved us a lot of money.

I know sometimes you wonder, don't you? I know exactly how you feel at the moment. Then if you ever do get to a point where you think you will be able to get ahead something unforeseen happens. I completely understand what you are saying. I wish I had advice to give you but I really don't at the moment. Just know that you are not alone. I really hope that things will start looking up for you here real soon.

When you say money is root of all evil, Hmm maybe you are right for some part, if there are no money is human are still using barter trading changing thing with thing, how you want to trade a car?, tall building in the world, how you want to pay people that work for you, how you want to build roads and many more invention that have been invent? Money solve this problem, people work for money, people work to gain money so they can have their own live and fill their desire, card credit will be good if you use it in positive way. I think maybe you need to spend some time to read some book how to manage your money, who deserve to be paid when you get your income. Make your mine wide open about this, keep think positive way. Bills will come if you take service sometime we can't live without some service but some of it we can live without it. Money will be bad when all people wanted it and don't think to get in in good way, they just think about money but don't care how to get it. I'm also not expert about money but for this time i still can manage my money, maybe i will think like you when i lose control of my money. So i hope you can find the way to contro your money and i will find mine. About you say money can't buy happines it suit for rich people, but it also mean if we just keep to find more money we will lose moment with our children, we can buy that moment, we can't buy our children. that all what i can say about money

The road to financial freedom is started by paying yourself first. I earn nothing compared to what average western people earn. But at least I have a long term goal and I always pay MYSELF first instead of finding more ways to get me deeper into debts.
