if given a chance, are going to leave your country and migrate to other country?

if given a chance would you choose to live in a different country and stay there for good? what country is it? why or why not? to answer my question, i really want to experience life in different countries, to see different places, to understand othe people's culture, so yes, i want to live in a different country but not for a very long time, i guess, it's certainly different to live in the place where you were born and raised and to live in the place that you wanted to visit. there's no place like home. =)

definitely, there is no second thoughts... im sick and tired of being in a 3rd world country full of corruption and pollution... yeah, there is no place like home, but i think i could adapt well if i migrate to U.S... i know it will be hard and it will take a lot of hard work... i would definitely grab that oppurtunity if there is... ;)

i see.. there are lots of people who would grab the opportunity..;) i've heard some people say "it would be the best for you if you migrate in other country while your young".. honestly, if given a chance, i will also grab it, but i think, i'll always want to come back. to think that you have friends and other relatives left behind. and a part of you will always long for our own country. :)

Yes I would. I'd probably go to US, my hubby is an American but his citizenship is all messed up now, We don't know his nationality now. He's overstaying nearly 8 years and married me, a filipino so we don't know if he's naturalize or not, but going back to the subject, If I could fix everything up I would go to US and live there hopefully forever, but I'm a little worried about their culture and behavior, specially the youth. My second choice is between Australia and Canada, seems to me a good place to live and raise your kids.

i see. i hope you can fix your husband's nationality, it's hard when there are problems regarding papers and nationalities. goodluck! my mom and aunt also prefer the 2 other countries regarding migration.

I was born in Australia and I truly think it is the best society in the world to raise children. I grew up understanding and tolerating all kinds of people with all different skin, all different bodies and all different gender preferences. Everyone can find a place to belong and we do not really have widespread rednecks or whole towns where it's not safe for "certain" people to visit. I think the US has a fair few towns where people stare at you if you are not white and speak perfect English. I would hate to feel like that. I love a Finnish man though, so one day one of us will move countries. As much as I love Australia I love my man more!

My family is actually working on a petition to go abroad to actually live there. My mom's petition is being processed at the moment and she's gonna file for ours when she arrives there. I might be in California by the time I graduate from college. So... that's a yes. Not that I hate the Philippines or whatever. It would always be my home. But we all have to face reality and I do not think there is anything for me here. Staying here would mean that I would just sit back and just watch as things are just being given to me. But in america, I know I have to work hard to get to where I want to be. And all my hard work would definitely pay off. I'm not taking up such a hard course to just sit around and wait for something to happen. I took it up so I can use what I learn for practical things and I won't be able to do it here.
