Fantasy World Lives...

Over the years we've all been introduced to one fantasy world or another, whether it be through a book, a movie, or a painting/photograph. If you could live in any one of those fantasy worlds, which one would you want to live in and why?
For me, it would be Middle-earth. I would love to live in Rohan because it captures so many of my own ancestral elements and combines them, that I just feel I would be very at home there.

No doubt about it, I would choose Harry Potter...well, assuming I could be a wizard of course. The Harry Potter books just make everything cound so much fun, even menial tasks like housework. I mean, come on, how awesome would it be to be able to make dinner with a wand every night? Not to mention all the little beasties and all the cool jobs. Sure, I don't think I could be an auror, but I could see myself teaching at Hogwarts or even working for a department in the Ministry of Magic.

I guess I always figure that I would be in the lowest level of society. I guess I just realize that my family dragged itself up from a low level & realisticly realize that if I were in some midevil type society I'd be a drudge.
So, having said that, I'd like to live in the all to current seeming SERRAtted edge books by Mercedes Lackey.

Im not sure what type of world that i would like to live in. There are so many differnt things out there it is hard to chose.

Interesting idea. I guess I would chose to live on Pern, with the dragon riders in the Wyre. Flaming the Threads that menace Pern's existence. Riding a dragon, searing the Threads, having a lifelong bond with a wonderful magical creature.

What a fun question! I hope more people respond.
For me, as a huge Joss Whedon fan, I think I would pick one of the universes that Joss has created to live in. I'm not sure if I would pick Sunnydale, as seen in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or if I would pick the Firefly-verse, as seen in Firefly and Serenity.
The Buffy-verse would be fun, although rather dangerous. But I think it would be amazing to live in a world similar to our own, but with magic, and demons, and all those things you think are real, actually being real. Plus I love the characters from the show, and Joss's writing style, so I figure if I live in that world, many of the people I meet would be funny, witty, clever, and pretty good in a crisis.
The Firefly-verse would also be a fun but dangerous place to live. It's futureistic, but more frontier like. It's a mix of Asian and American old west cultures, with interplanet travel thrown in. It seems like it would be a hard but rewarding life, so many differnt possibilities and paths. Again, I love the writing in this show, so that makes the world much more attractive.
