It's true that good people live longer than bad people??

i do not agree with u dear, rather i feel that the evils stay more then the good one , As saying about karma then the person doing more evils have to live more and face the difficulties in life rather the person who is good seems have shorter life as they need not face these difficulties and again get birth as a small baby whos heart is as pure as the drop of water....

Actually...I think that it is the other way around...I think that bad people live longer then good people. Evil seems to triumph over good these days...

i always believe in karma. what goes around comes around. and so, i always try to be nice and do the right things... trying not to hurt people because i want to be treated nicely, too by others. i am not sure why bad people die horribly. maybe it's a punishment of their cruelty and being injustice to people around. and it's nice to know that nice people die in peace. no matter how hard life was for nice people, our conscience is clear and it's always better to die in peace. happy myLotting augusta!

I can only speculate. Good people would most likely live more happy & satisfying lives than bad people (this is true.). I would think it also means they'll live longer because there would be a lot less bitterness & ill feelings that would raise their blood pressure, & possibly cause high blood pressure. In some cases, however, it's not always true, such as the good person dying trying to save the lives of others.

From what I have heard ,good people are closer to God and God doesn't want them to suffer .That why good people die young and reach God sooner while not so good people have to slug it out here and go through the miseries of life. However,scientifically speaking,good people are the ones who rejoice when others are happy , have a lot of friends and don't stay depressed for too long.Going by their characteristic traits ,they should suffer from less ailments and thus,have a prolonged lifespan while not-so-good people might do harm to others and worry about it a lot.They are prone to suffer from stress and depression that lead to nervous breakdown and heart diseases thus shortening their life. I believe it's our deeds that decides our lifespan.Yes,ultimately it breaks down to Karma.

Hey augustta, Wow I never really heard that one before, I have heard good people die young lol, I dont know how true that one is. And Ive heard people who hold anger and grudges, create cancers and sickness in there bodies... lol, actually i read that one. Have great day or night, where ever you are...

I think those who live longest are people who are the happiest, and maybe good people have a natural tendency to be happier than bad people..:)

I guess we have opposite point of views about this topic.Because ive heared a lot that good people have a shorter life compare to bad people.They said it is because, God dont want the good people to do mistakes in the future thats why they live shorter.And the bad people live more longer because God wanted them to repent and change their life into a new one.Thats why they have too much time to change for the better.

Who is to judge who is good and who is evil? A good person may perform an evil act in the belief he is doing good and a bad person can perform a good act too. Karma may or may not have an effect, but what goes around comes around

I think it is the other way around. bad people are given more time on earth so that they would have the opportunity to repent. LOL! Actually, I really have no idea if the way we live either as a good or bad person would affect our life span.

we have opposite notion about this good people die early and bad people longer than they deserve.we say good people are loved by god as well and he call them early.

Nope,i believe the other way round...i believe bad people live longer,coz God gives them time to go through punishment for all the bad deeds he/she has done in their lives...but good people are CALLED by god very early!

As for me, I believe that bad people live longer than those with the good ones. I believe that God take away the good ones earlier because he doesn't want them to make a mistakes anymore. For those with the bad one, God gives them chance to repent for their since and do goodness to mankind before they had their very last trip. For those people who wants to live longer, do bad anyway and for those who are doing good, have fear and bid goodbye to all your love ones everyday cause you're never so sure when it will be your last. I feel that good people live shorter and the bad people they live longer cause god doesn't want the good people to stay in this place called earth that's why they call them on top early but for bad people god wants them stay in this earth and do all the possible bad things they wanted to do in their life. Good people when they die they become angels and take care of god.

It's not true in my view coz in today's world there are more bad people than good one's so it's not easy for them to live longer.

I dont think so, Its just a hearsay from some other people, theres no evidence or statistics on that issue, but mostly ive heared but i dont believe also that it is the reverse, bad people live longer, to make them repent all the sins they have committed in the past, that was what other lay people have perceived.

i wish that were so-but i've known too many good people who passed before their time. and yet,people i know who are complete b*stards seem to keep going.you wonder if they run on spite.

I don't know if there is scientific evidence of your viewpoint, but I really hope there is. I have read some of the responses you received. Someone pointed out that bad guys are shrewd and sly in their lives so that they can gain more benefits than frank, honest guys. Then they get better and longer lives. This situation does exists. Actually it is hard to differentiate cleverness or slyness. The clever guy plan and organize his life efficiently without hurting others. They deserve a good life. Bad ones gain their "success" through cheating and lying. Maybe they can have a good life as well. But they are the ones who I hate all the time.

i would prefer to believe that.it leads us to be good people.
