Well here is another thing you should not do when making Pancakes
I love my Pancakes as most of you know and also at the moment I can only eat soft Food so I decided to make some,I have to make extra now as Gissi never used to like them, well behold me he has got the taste for them now including the Lemon on top, so he is sitting there watching me, well while they are cooking I am singing away to a song I was listening to and doing the Dishes
I take my gloves of as it is time to turn the Pancake round and guess what??
Well I only went to pick it up with my Fingers to turn it round,Now I have long Nails which is a good Job I guess as it just frizzled my Nails a bit, which I got a bit upset about as I have only just manicured them so I have to shape them and do those 2 again. Of Course Gissi is not happy as I am laughing, the reason for that is I dropped the Pancake on the Floor and just missed Gissi's Head of course I got a right look from my lovely little Dog, he decided after that it would be safer to lie on the other side of the Kitchen. But I am in bad books as I could not stop laughing
Well I was imagining what it would have looked like a Pancake on Gissi's Head, well anyway he is not talking to me now so that will last a couple of hours again.

Well, all I can say is, it's a good job you didn't try tossing the pancake, or Gizzi wouldn't be talking to you for a whole week!!! ha ha ha
I think you'll have to get some barbecue tongs for turning or removing your pancakes before you cause any more havoc... and put the coffee jar away, out of reach! he he he
I've certainly got to come back there and keep an eye on you, I think!
Love and hugs.

I don't think he's really sulking because you almost dropped a pancake on his head. He's probably staying far away because he's afraid that you might drop the frying pan on his head. Even if it misses, the sound of the frying pan hitting the floor might be almost as painful. Oh - just make sure you have shoes on if you end up doing that.

Back in the days of cashglow, some lady was talking about cops looking for a rapist in her area. I had the entire room laughing (ESPECIALLY her) when I said, "Just keep your heaviest frying pan beside you at all times until he's caught" ... Others commented that I made a lot of sense because owning a frying pan is not against the law, & at the same time, can prove a more effective weapon against an intruder.

LOL. My mom hit a guy in the head with an iron skillet as he was climbing in our window! He was still out when the police got there. The skillet had a curve in it that was the size of his head!!
Oh, and BTW the cop told us if it ever happens again, make sure he lands inside the window, and not fall back out. It is a lot less paper work for them if the body is hanging from the window than if he is lying out side of it!

Oh no! Gissi is in a sulk again! He is going to make you work hard for his affections again, I just know he is. And you're not supposed to use your fingers/nails to pick up anything from a hot pan, silly goose. At least it was only your nails that got singed and not your skin. But I have to admit (and don't you dare tell Gissi I said this) the thought of Gissi with a pancake on top of his head does make for a rather amusing picture in my mind. LOL. I swear, if we keep laughing at him, he is going to have a permanent inferiority complex!

You and Gissi have a realtionship like a cat and I use to. You would not have liked to clean 1/2 cooked pancake off Gissi's head.
Now you know never never turn over a pancake with your fingers the stove is hot! Sometimes as adults we have to relearn lessons our mothers taught us where we where little.
You know by laughing at Gissi she will open the bathroom door on your eye again and you will have another black eye. Be very carefull Gissi will get you in the end (literally)
I love to here Gissi stories. I think we all have follown in love with him

Gabs, I did tell you you are not making the pancakes for the garden party, didn't I? Well, maybe you thought if you kept practising, you could manage it? Um - it doesn't appear to be working.
Gissi says don't bother trying to give him a hat again. He doesn't need one. He doesn't get sun stroke, and there isn't enough sun anyway. He can manage without a hat, but thanks anyway for the thought.

Ok I won't try to make him a hat again but if he does get Sunstroke then he doesn't come crying to me I tried
Does he come on here at night after I have gone to bed as he seems to be talking to a couple of People (confused) I might have to put the Child Lock on here hmmmmmmmmmmm

Poor Gissi!!
I know of a support group for dogs who's owners are blonde and they have produced their very own safety head gear for such events.
Heres one for Gissi.
They're now working on an asbestos suit for the barbeque season.

Well at least no one got hurt this time, except your finger nail!LOL
I had never heard of being in bad books, I may have to remember that so I can use it!
My Izzy is a little upset at me too. She was behind me and I went to go start supper, and when i rolled back, she was right there and I ran over her foot! She hid under the bed for a bit, but soon came out when she smelled the grill firing up!LOL She love to grill out as much as we do!
Maybe Gissi will let you sleep in peace. I hope she doesn't push you out of the bed!!LOL
Note to self:
Check gabs' threads for one about falling out of bed in the morning!
LOL He told me he was just as sad about ignoring you as you are. But he has to teach you some how. Tough Love I think he called it!LOL

I read your first Pancake Incident. Now this one is better and I bet you got a look from Gissi also. He is probally highly insulted. And to make matters worse you were laughing. I can just see in Gissi's mind him plotting revenge. You better be prepared because when you least expect it he will get you.

Ha ha ha that was really funny. Sweet Gabs goofs up while making pancakes and dropped pancake on the floor luckily missing poor Gissi. I bet Gissi wasn't amused. LOL. Don't worry by now Gissi will have got used to these goof ups. He will come around. And yes your sense of humour is amazing to say the least, keep it up. And looks like Gissi is getting used to and enjoying things you cook. And dont' worry your nails look just fine. he he. Have a nice day. :)

Oh dear Gaby, what am I going to do with you with these accidents you keep making I don't know because you should know yourself that you cannot turn anything hot on the stove with your bare hands and turning those lovely pancakes over with your fingernails, you are very lucky that you did not burn your hand. Oh bet Gissi, knows you by now and no wonder he went to the other side of the kitchen as it would be more safer for him there. Well I hope that after Gissi went for his walk that he is feeling much better now and forgiven you once more lol!!
