I have just started gardening a few years ago and last fall was the first time I had to winterize my roses. I live on the east coast of Canada and asking for some advice on when to uncover my roses and how to tend to them when I do. They did so great last year I don't want to uncover them too early and risk killing them. It has just warmed up here the last week or so. The weather has been crazy. We had a snowstorm last week, now the temp. is around 25 celsuis. It is around the freezing point at night still. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm the oppisite, it's warmer here but sometimes it's so hot that my roses don't last, now in another case I've tried a greenhouse, a mini one. I purchased one at a store and kept most of my plants and flowers in there, you can uncover once a day for at least watering, then cover them again. With the mini greenhouse I purchased it kept my flowers and plants growing even when it was cold, as long as you store them in a dry, coolish yet warmish area they should be ok. I hope this helps.
