Ginger Rogers was a beautiful dancer/actress/singer who was the perfect dance partner and romantic interest of Fred Astaire in his many musical films.There were of course other beautiful girls who acted with Fred,like the lovely Eleanor Powell and Cyd Charisse the girl with the beautiful long legs,but nobody can deny that Ginger was the only girl who was most aesthetically right as a dance partner for the magical Fred Astaire.

Not only was Ginger a great dancer, but she was an outstanding actress. This can be seen in films such as Kitty Foyle (for which she won an Academy Award), The Primrose Path, and Tender Comrade.
