Does anyone decide in advance what they are going to cook for meals?
How far ahead do you plan?
Do you shop according to what is on sale?
Do you set a meal plan for the follwoing week and really stick to it?
I don't right about mid afternoon, cause I have spent tooo much time here I race to the freezer and throw something together
Bad i know but what the hay

My Hubby gets paid bi-weekly and gives me grocery money.
I sit down and write out meal ideas on one list, and what I need to buy on another.
I don't worry about sales and I shop at the cheapest stores.
I buy mostly store brand items, so no coupons to sort through, either.
My only day off is Monday, so I try to get all of the shopping done then.

Coupons When I finally locate them they are usually outdated LOL
My hubby gets paid when the job is done Usually Or when a specific part of the job is done. Contractor so pay checks are not regular.
I don't worry about sale much more either Now that the boys are on their own groceries are much cheaper. We can splurge now and again Gettin what we like.

I try to plan as well but is never seems to work out LOL
It is very hard to dream up new dishes to try. Specially if your other half is a meat and pototoes kind a guy.
Shopping for bargains is a must even if we are now alone All the boys have grown up and moved away.
Still find it hard to cook for 2 LOL End with so much food leftover at times. Spagetti is one thing I can't just make a little of Good thing it freezes well
Thanks for responding
