i haven't finished college yet and i'm already working.. thus, i saw the ups and downs of being a student. also, it's two very different things in being a student with money and being a student with no money.
one advantage of being a student, is you get to learn a lot of new things that would improve your knowledge on things, and you won't be ignorant of things. you don't stay 8 to 9 hours in school.. and you choose your own schedule.
the disadavantage would be, you don't necessarily reap what you sow. even after working hard a lot completing all the requirements and went to school everyday, if you fail the examinations and your project sucks, you would still fail. this will also happen if your teacher doesn't really like you that much..

I'm a student, and I'm looking for a part-time job too. It's kind of hard to look for a job that would fit with a student's hectic schedule.

ive finished my high school and in a undergraduate college now, this is actually a interestin discussion, there are many ups in a students life, the best being the fun we can have with friends and in playing pranks with the teacher, i still remember it was great fun and i enjoyed it, also as a student i felt happy and good when someone else especially a teacher praised me for my effoerts, i cant think of many downs in a students life, that is if everything is normal , but there are certain downs, i can remember being scolded and sent out getting a 2 on 50 in an exam, it was very emotional for me, but i realised my very small mistake, you can get sometimes bad punishments for even very small mistakes , but its a part and parcel of students life, i think everyone should enjoy their student life, thats when things are not very serious )(except study) and we can have a lot of fun

The sweetest days of my life are the early college days. Lots of time to hang out with friendz, campus politics and strikes, lots of flirting and ofcourse the last minute tuzzle with the text books are the best things to rememeber. Those fond memories ofcourse give me nostalgic feelings...
