Would you teach your child to "hit back" at school if somebody hits them?

I would definetly do so! It is called "self defense!" And plus, i would teach him not to let other kids push my child around! Would you teach your child to "hit back" at school if somebody hits them? Why?

i would not tell them to hit the person back but instead teach them to affect th person in some other way. If you can get physchological advantage over someone it always help. Winding someone up is a good way to fight back. In any part of life if you can be clever instead of being physical it will give you a head start. Say at work when the child is older, instead of getting wound up and getting violent they can think of some other clever comeback. Teachinga child self defense may good as well, without being violent they can learn how to avoid punches and kicks with ease.
