Somebody told me that you can sign up for a free phone number. And then use that phone number when filling out questionaires and surveys. Anybody know if this is true? Or where you can do this?

I have heard that privatephone is the best service like this. I have never used it but I think that I may try it out soon.
I will be interested to see if there are a lot of people that use it or if there is someother company out there that people use.

I use NetZero as my message center, they have something called PrivatePhone. Rather then explain it here is the url to NetZero so you can check it out. You get your own personal phone number and it works like an answering machine so they don't know any better if you are just not home or using a servince.

I hope this is what you are looking for. I use it for my phone number on non urgent web sign ups.

I use PrivatePhone from NetZero. It's free and you aren't bombarded with phone calls on your regular phone. It's a local number to your area, so it doesn't cost you anything to listen to the messages either.
