Do you first go to your email notification or to the mylot page when you want..

Since I have gotten a better email on Yahoo! I seem to always go to that first. I find it much easier, and more helpful to your friends and yourself. It can be so hard sometimes to find the right discussion to respond to. I really don't actually look for the ones I respond to myself most of the time. Either I only respond to my friends in my email, or I look at what my friends have responded to. Especially some people because they always respond to interesting discussions. I got this discussion from one of my friends that they responded to!! Seriously! So...Thanks! :)

Well I have only just gotten my 2nd friend a few mins ago so for me it is much easier to just go to the mylot homepage & check what is new there.

Hi there - I always go to my email and work from what's in my inbox. As I go along and reply to my friends' discussions I can delete the emails. If I respond from the myLot main page I find I get easily distracted and end up not responding to my friends' posts - which isn't fair. lol

I do not have emailnotifications on for any user. I get so many emails then that i can never read them all. Instead when I open mylot i directly go to the "discussions my friends started" page and work my way through that before doing something else. I also try to go to their pages every once in a while so that i do not miss anything interesting =)

I just go to my email notification first.. not on mylot. Because it gives me an idea... how many replies I have received to the discussions which I started... who has sent me a private message....which of my dear friend has started a new discussion. I keep the notification 'on' for my dear friends and I try to reply to their post, as far as possible. I find it bit difficult and time consuming to directly go at mylot and reply to the discussions. I always prefer opening my e-mail ID and I feel comfortable in that.

It's also the emails for me first. But if I happened to be at the main page and saw something that catches my eye, I may take a look. When I see this discussion in the email again, I will just remind myself that I have already answered it.

I always go to my email first. There is too much shuffles of discussions and new discussions my friends created can get lost in that shuffles. Email notifications ensures that I know they are posting new discussions and I respond to them. If I can not think of anything right away, I might leave it in my inbox for a few days. But at least then I know I have it if I think of something.

I love checking my e-mails, so I make sure that I visit it first before logging in here(mylot). But I answer most of them here on mylot, because I also want to make sure that my response is different from the others. I also want to read what other's opinions are given, because I also want to learn something new from them(if ever they made some believable views).

I use to always do my e-mail first until discovering several posts were jokes and a serious answer wasn't expected. Now I do only half of the discussions from my e-mail and it depends on who sent me the e-mail. In the upcoming months when my business becomes very busy more than half of my friends list will no longer being sending e-mail to me. I will be on the board, but for a shorter period of time.

Either... What ever come as a natural way. Some time mail checking, some time mylot direct!

When I first start my computer, I go straight to my Mylot page to see if anyone has responded to any of my discussions. Then I check My e-mail and see who I can respond to. I prefer to respond to the responses to my discussions first. Take care!!

Hello,liranlgo, I would just be able to turn on the notify button one week ago and I found out that I could reply to discussions much quicker and I could keep up with the discussions of my friends easier,although my email woudl be swarmed by the mylot messages ,but it could be more convinientfor me not to load so many pages into the discussions as the internet speed was slow here. I would read the discussions and replies from other members after I replied.

I respond to email notifications from friends first before anything. When there is nothing else in my mailbox, I will look around and respond from the main page or anywhere. This happen to be one I scouted round :P

I always go read my emails first : my computer is always and when I get in front of it, I have a pop-up that told me if I have email or not.
