It is not only possible, it is probable. Everyone has a position and a role in the whole family dynamics and when a baby that needs total and constant attention comes along a huge shift takes place. Not everyone deals well when things shift from what they are used to and that can cause trouble for some. Love usually pulls everyone through somehow.
If you are going through this yourself, just remember that it is all worth it. Blessings.

Welcome to myLot, but what in the name of heaven is family dynamics?
Family I know and dynamics I know but not the two together. Is this something new?
A new baby certainly causes some changes in a couples life - lack of sleep; lack of peace; the hours spent just looking at your baby dreaming; the smell of a baby; the smell of a dirty baby!
Oh yes, they make a change - and a change for ever. I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Well Smacksman,
I would define family dynamics as an established routine among a give family. I would say that though different in each family, most family units have a dynamic that allows them to interact.
