Co-workers

Do you have co-workers that constantly complain about how overworked they are, yet they are always wondering around out of their office, discussing this very topic with co-workers? Or that take between 6-10, ten minute smoke breaks throughout the day, thus limiting themselves even further on how much actual work time is available?

Well I say your co-workers are hypocrites because they say one thing but they do another. I would make an excuse to leave the conversation because they take away your work time. These are toxic people that drain your energy. I wouldn't even be friends with these people. My spouse's co-worker is a woman and she gets the credit for what other people do for her. That isn't right. Karma struck her in the deriere and she got laid off.

You are right that they take some of my work time also. I do consider myself a pretty time efficient person, so I actually can afford the opportunity to do some "walking around", but I do only talk with the people that I know are as efficient as I. The complaining of overwork and not having enough time always seems to be raised at the staff meetings, where those voices can gather the other like minded voices and then they become a loud voice.
