My boyfriend's friend died today

My boyfriend called me after he had class today and he told me that one of his friends Madeleine died. She was driving to school this morning on a gravel road and lost control of the car. Hes really upset, and its upsetting because I can't really help him besides comforting him as much as I can. A death like that really opens my eyes for a lot of things. It makes me grateful that I still have the people I love in my life and how I've been taking some of them for granted. Its weird how it takes something tagic like that to make me realize all of this. Just take the time and appreciate everyone you have in your life =)
