Looking for information on Foot Detox Patches

While browsing through a catalog today, I noticed an item called, "Detox Foot Patches" which is supposed to eliminate the toxins in your body. Apparently, you place a patch on your foot before going to bed and it is supposed to pull toxins out while you sleep. I did a little research on the Internet but only found basic information so if anyone has a knowledge of or ever tried this product, I would love to hear more about it. Exactly how do they work, why do they work, is it safe, etc.
