Have you had any sleepwalking adventures?

I haven't done a lot of sleep walking myself but one morning I woke up to find my blankets draped across my dresser (which was on the other side of the bedroom) and it took me a week to find my pillow.
I also tend to get violent in my sleep. I've been known to kick and punch in while sleeping. (I didn't mean it honest!)
Does anyone else have any interesting sleep walking stories? The wilder, the better!:)

I do not do anything strange while asleep, BUT my husband is the funny one. Once I tried to wake him from the couch to go to bed. He proceeded to order a ham and cheese sandwich. I tried to wake him, while laughing my head off, and he said "listen lady, I just want the dang sandwich, are you going to give me the sandwich or not" I then had the presence of mind to go get the tape recorder. I then recorded him on various occassions, ordering food, speaking in strange languages, accusing me of stealing his wallet, and many other things. He would have never believed me if not for that little recorder !! He does thrash about a lot in bed as well. He is constantly pulling all of the sheets off the bed at night.

..my husband has a good one.. when he and his cousin were young (teenagers I think) his cousin sat up and acted like he was awake.. saying something like "do you see him?" and looking toward the windows and acting real spooky.. and it spooked my husband out.. This same cousin years later, when he and his wife were visiting for a few days.. one night when he went to the can, he walked back into our room and got into bed with us! It was funny! I was glad he crawled in on hubby's side of the bed tho! He woke him up.. or else he just kept sleepwalking, but did what my husband said, which was to go to his own bed..
- that's funny about your blankets and pillow..

That's too funny. Things must get interesting when that cousin visits.
I'm pretty much the only member of my family that sleepwalks at all so I've never had anybody crawl in bed with me. I did go talk to my sister in the middle of the night once and when I started commenting on some of the things that she said the next morning she denied every having talked with me. :)

I've never sleepwalked before, but my sister did. I remember when we were younger she decided to sleep in my room in a little blow up raft. In the middle of the night, I wake up to a "thump, thump, thump" like someone is trying to get in the room. I turned my light on and there's my sister bumping into the closed door over and over again. It looked like she was trying to walk through the door without opening it. *LoL* So I went over, took her by her hand and guided her back to her raft. The next morning, she didn't remember anything and didn't believe me until I pointed out the new bruises she had on her arms.

That would make a great 'funniest home videos' video. :)
It sounds like she really beat herself up at night. It's a good thing she couldn't get out the door.

The only time that I am aware of, is the time I woke up about 2AM assuming that it was time for me to get ready for school. I got dressed, brushed my teeth and everything. When I got finished, I looked at the clock and realized that I could go back to bed for awhile. I woke up about an hour later, really hot wondering what I was doing in my school clothes. Then, I remembered vaguely getting dressed, so I decided to put my PJ's back on and go back to bed.

Wow, your husband really moves around. It's a good thing he has you there to help keep track of him.
Really active sleepwalkers can really get into dangerous situations. I heard about one person who did some 'sleep driving'.
After that they put all kinds of locks on the doors to try to prevent themselves from going out while they were asleep.
P.S. I really like your 'sleep walking' picture.
