What the heck is a sortie?

OK what is it, what does it do & how on earth do I edit it? I click edit & nothing happens... can you tell I am new.

Dang! I was really hoping someone had posted a response to this that would help me figure things out. Of course, I haven't even figured out how to customize my avatar yet so you're a few steps ahead of me. I'll have to keep checking back.

Ok I did figure it out. it was a setting in my firewall that was stopping it. Becasue I only have the firewall on 1 computer & not the other computer that is networked to it I was able to edit it on one but not even see it on the other. If you have NPF then take a quick look at your settings, I can't remember what I did as I have uninstalled that one & went with ashampoo firewall...at least that one lets me see & edit them. Hope it helps.

Thanks! I think I'll try at home and see if it will let me work with it. Obviously I found the avatar part. LOL I wanted to include links to my articles on other sites and my blog. (I write under the same name everywhere, but it would be easier if I could be more specific, y'know?)
