Do you believe in the balance of life????

Hello people, I would like to ask for your opinion in the balance of life. God gave us everything, laid his cards down and gave us commandments or rules to follow but in His good reasons, He gave us freewill. I have a friend who had a problem with his identity. In our discussion about his preference in love. I came up with a thought. God made balance and made pairs in everything. Pairs???? what do I mean??? it is a part of what I call balance like positive is to negative, a bolt is to a nut, a spoon is to a fork. For him, he lived a happy life but he thinks that the time has come for him to change and fall for a woman. He wants to have a family and leave a legacy to the world, he wants to be secured that when he gets old, somebody will take care of him. No offense to gay people, I am just sharing this topic because he wants to have more answers and you my friends can help me with your thoughts. I feel happy thinking how good God is as the Creator, an Artist at work, the balance of life can be seen in its small ways when you go up, you will surely go down.... If you are happy today, tomorrow you might cry. You learn, you live and He made life exciting for all of us!:) Balance of life, God created life in pairs..... what do you think??
