What was you doing when you heard Elvis had died. Me, I was only 3 when he did but my parents still talk about that day. We was out to look at a new house when my mom walked into a convenience store and everyone was talking about it. As it was being played on the radio.

Well I remember Me and my cousin from Ohio had been visisiting a lady across the street from our gparents and we were going back for my aunt was cooking my cousins bday cake for here bday is aug 17th. We heard it on the t.v. and ran back to our gparents house and they had not heard it yet we were both crying!

I was 7 and visiting my grandmother. We watched it on TV as soon as it happenned. She was upset, but I didn't know who Elvis was, but I became upset just because I could see that she was shocked and upset, so I imagined that this Elvis guy must have been some really important person. Now I love his music!
