Friendship Is A Priceless Gift

Friendship is a priceless gift that cannot be bought or sold,
But its value is far greater than a mountian made of gold. For gold is cold and lifeless, it can neither seen nor heard. And in our times of trouble it is powerless to cheer. It has no ears to listen, nor heart to understand. It cannot bring you comfort, or reach out a helping hand. So when you ask God for a gift, be thankful if he sends not diamonds, pearls or riches, but the love of a real true friends. I have found many friends on mylot and they mean the world to me!!

Everybody needs at least one good friend - they are worth their weight in gold. A good friend is someone who will be there with you through thick and thin, never counting the cost, and always ready with a hearing ear or a shoulder to cry on. A good friend is indeed, priceless.

Gee Kathy, your words really touched me, thankyou. Isn't it amazing that we can build such friendships on the internet without having met each other in person? I feel like I know you so well, and you are part of my every day life now - even my hubby asks about you! MyLot is sure a great place to be!

Friendship is worth everything, but we go through MANY!! I tell my nephew this all the time. I only have 1 friend still from 5th grade and 1 still from HS. I have more friends from my college. Friends are like siblings and/or extensions of ourselves. Sooner or later you get bored, irritated, and/or fighting with them because of this. So, you're allowed to move on from friends to friends, but maybe you should just try easing up a bit first. Don't hang-out everyday or weekend, Try to mix it up with others or just be a lone wolf some weekends. Never be afraid either way, friends and family help us all through life. We all need that!

Oh kathy that is just so beautiful and like you i have made so many friendships on here some very special too. Yours is one of my very special friendships that i know will last a lifetime. Really good friends are hard to find i am so glad you are one of mine.

yes.. i do agree with you.. friendship is a priceless gift.. just imagine how many peoples are there in this world.. billions and maybe even trillions.. right? you're lucky to get to know someone during your journey of life..but it also depends on what kind of friendship you're talking about.. if those fake ones.. i think i prefer not to have it.. true friendship is the one i considered gifted by god.. and i think i have to learn to appreciate it... as you say you have found many true friends in mylot.. and they mean alot to you.. to tell you the truth.. i think you are my true friend..you always supported my discussion .. even when others criticize me.. you didn't pull me down like others.. and i really thank you for being there to support me..

Hi Charles, Yes friendship sure is priceless and there are billions of people in our world we live, and true friendship is gifted to us from God, you are welcome and it is a pleasure to be a friend of yours, I always try to support others and to make them feel great about themselves and the lives we live and I shall continue to be your friend

Yes, i believe so too. I have a bestfriend since i was 8 years old. Wer still communicating until now. We really treasure our friendship. Both of us have our own families but we still remember each other especially on special occassions.True friends are really hard to find but i found my friend 37 years ago.
