is your avatar a pic of you?

My avatar is not my own picture but an animation of the cartoon character Spongebob Squarepants. I took this avatar from www.messengerfreak.com because I think it looks really cute and it looks very happy to me. This is in fact my second avatar - I replaced my first avatar because it's not moving when it is displayed in a discussion.

Yeah, pretty much a self portrait, but it doesn't have dandruff... It's a painting called "The Singer". If I took up karaoke, it'd be a threat. Here on myLot, it's just a character reference.

My avatar is a blue dragon wrapped around the world. I would not post up a photograph of myself as an avatar, I would feel uncomfortable about that.

My avatar is my real picture that my oldest brother edited in Adobe Photoshop. It's taken on a webcam some years ago. It has my nickname on it. Ever since I'm using it in every account I have. Well, I just love the way it looks. It's unique. LOL.

i dont think posting real photos on the internet is a good idea since a lot of bad actvities can be done using our photo.so i dont post my real photo on the net. but i am searching for a nice animated avatar to keep it for me.
