How will their new CD sound without Brown Sound?

So now we know that David Baksh, Brown Sound, has left the band as is not going to be replaced. Their last CD, Chuck, was leaning in a far heavier direction than ever before, but not that they only have one guitarist they'll probably go more pop-rock than ever before. Not really sure I'll like their new sound...what are your thoughts?
