I am very obnoxious and cheeky lol. I can't help it. I know God like to show us He is in control and I found myself having the following conversation..
"EXCUSE ME?
i DON'T THINK THAT GIVING ME THE FLU IS CONVENIENT AT THIS TIME,
cAN YOU PLESE HURRY UP AND GET ME BETTER.
i AM NOT GOING TO SIT AND WINGE ABOUT IT THOUGH I PROMISE, BUT PLEASE, PLEASE, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE MAN I AM FAR TO BUSY TO GET ILL NOW. It is a luxury I can't afford. Thank's God, I know you are listening, Cheers man!"

I do it all the time, I am a little terror don't you agree?
I can't be formal, well unless I go to a Holy house of God. But when it's just Him and Me, it's like talking to my best friend, I tell him everything I feel.

Your discussion is very interesting and I can't help myself without responding you. I don't, but my 4 years child lost his eraser and when he opened his compass box and remembered that his eraser is lost, he stood before God and joining both his hands he was murmuring something. When I asked him what he was saying to God, he said I am asking God to help me find my eraser[he feared that his mummy would scold him].I immediately kissed him and told to forget about that old eraser and got a new one for him.

Yes, yanny dear, in the state I'm in, I found myself praying more than ever. I normally whisper something to God while driving my car or going to meet my clients. I believe that praying should not be limited to a once a day ritual only. You can spread it in one day. Somehow, it gave me a sense of renewal and assurance that I'm protected.

I do. I think God must be bored hearing incantations and recitations all the time. I include Him in all areas of my life. And in my frustrations, I try to laugh with Him and joke about my state. I am yet to be hit by lightning so He must like my humor.

I love it yanjiaren. I talk to God like that much of the time. We have a personal relationship that allows me humbly and with respect, the honor of 'chatting' with him over such mudane issues of life.
He is my 'everything'. Therefore, we carry on some pretty strange conversations sometimes. The strange part is when He decides to talk back. LOL

Well, I think it's suppose to be a prayer not chat. You pray like God was your pal or something. I must say I rarely pray God and I do only when I'm really depressed. I guess I should visit the church more often. And seriously you should change the way you pray. :P

This is my talking with God, my formal prayers and incantations or mantras are different..They all have a place in my life. I have seen God's sense of humour and if He hadn't given me one, for everything I have suffered in my life I would be one miserable git lol..

ya sometimes if i fell much frustated i use to talk to god in very funny way like hi god whats all this i am honest man ,i love to work hard, i never hurt any one still i am so poor i dont't want my childrens to be poor like me . why don't u show me a grate opportunity.
sometimes i complain to god that u have provided me such a great talent will you pl give me atlest a chance to prove me befor i die.

I love this discussion, and I am reminded of my brother, the preacher. Last year some changes for the good happened in his very small church. He said to me "Such and such happened, and I got worried, so I talked to God about it. He just laughed at me." Now, if you know who Doctor Phil is, just listen to his voice, and you will know what my brother sounds like. If God knows what is on our minds and in our hearts anyway, why try to hide it? Yes, formal prayer is like a wedding sacrament, very beautiful, and holy. Informal prayer is more like the reception, joyous and celebratory.

Many times,it's nice and make you fell more near to him.The praying is other things and I do it a lot but talking with the God in daily base make me fell more calm.....After all He always listen us right?
I know of course some people they disagree with these telling that shows no respect to Him,but I don't believe it.He knows us better than anyone,He even knows very well what we thinking so just we say our though with high voice..

Sometimes I hold funny conversation with God.It's good to know that we are very open to Him and I can say that I am not hesitant to tell everything to God what I feel everyday.

Yes, I do this also.. hehe I talked to him a lot especially when I'm praying I would get lost in my prayers sometimes because I would be talking to him about my experiences and my thoughts about it.. Then I would suddenly say "wait lord, I'll finish my prayers sorry for the insert.." hehe I'm talking to him like someone I knew and is so close to me..

Seems to me i do it in quite another way, cos i know God is out there looking at us, i always talk to myself as if talking to God. If possible, try talking to your friends about this. By the way are you Chinese or Chinese origin? Your feature photo that is apparently of Chinese characters inspired me. Add me as a friend, anyway.

That is a stamp My husband made for me because I write too many love poems about him. I love him too much. One day I want to open the Wu Ji Pavilion and make it like ancient times, who knows I might just be sent the mandate from Heaven eh? What will I do if that lands on my head lol?

i am sure many people out have behave the same. Even i have talks with god all the time. Sometimes serious, sometimes funny.
Its ok. Its more like fun. You can say you hav a good rapport with god, ain't it!

Its just as cool as like that... well, hehehe,, that's funny. Its a nice thing to start an intimate bonding with Him because you feel at ease. Man, He's always our bestfriend and of course we're able to define respect and love. So, doesnt matter.... He's always here for us. Jokes only made us laugh to enjoy good time.

I hold great awe in god. Like what you said, 'God like to show us He is in control', hence I do not try to be funny with him for fear he will really "control" me and show me how mighty and powerful he is :P
I thanked him when I find myself blessed and "blamed" him when I am feeling annoyed with life. More often, I forgot god exist.

Hehehe,im kinda pretty used to all this stuff uve mentioned,having funny conversations with God....Recently had one...its like...whenever i see a gorgeous girl on the road,i tell him..WHY DON'T U MAKE SUCH FEMALES TALK TO ME?!??! AM I ASKING U FOR SOME TREAURES,JUS A NICE GIRL...CANT U DO IT?!??!!?
