in church, if possible, wear a skirt or a dress. In a formal event or any semi formal, most of the time you can see women wearing dress.
ladies, do you love wearing dress or p[refer pants more?
men, do you love to see women wearing dress or are you contented with those pants?
I want to know your views and opinions about this. In the streets, you can seldom see girls wearing dress. Pants is the in thing now. What comes to your mind when you see one wearing? Do you think she is old fashioned or stylish?

oh I love the fact that we women can wear dresses. I mean I like the fact that we have such a wide variety of clothes to choose from. clothes are a funny play for me. I like dressing up in fashion clothes or in smart and elegant gowns..or I like feeling comfortable and wear easy washing clothes when I am out with friends for a walk in a park..and I love the fact I can have clothes matching my mood or the occasion I am going to. so I may wear everything from pants to hot pants to gowns and dresses..but I must admit I have a passions for summer dresses..I like the way they fit me and the way they make me look like..pretty I can say!!!

When I was a baby, my mother always dressed me in frilly little dresses, then when I was a little girl, I only wore dresses. As a teenager though, during the (hippy) years, I hated dresses and only wore my raggity old jeans. But in my late teens, during the (disco) years, I dresses up in beautiful dresses again and loved it! Then I got married and my husband liked me in pretty dresses, so I wore them all the time. Now that I am 56, I (make) my own style of dresses and wear them constantly, as well as a lot of house dresses. During hot summer days, I have a number of thin, soft, sleeveless, loose fitting dresses that I wear, and love!

It depends what the occasion is.If going out for shopping or casual gathering pants will do.But if it's a formal occasion or some theme related get together, then I love wearing dresses.I like our traditional Saree the most. But I like wearing black evening gowns very much because I like the way I look wearing them.It hides my imperfections.Lol

I have always liked to look at women who wear dresses. That makes them look more feminine. I never realized why is that so, until I read an article about cross-dressing. It said that, skirts, blouse, gowns, frocks etc. are feminine dresses and jeans, trousers, pants and shirts are masculine dresses. When sometimes men wear girls clothes its considered very inappropriate and is called as crossdressing, but when girl wear jeans, trousers, they are infact crossdressing, but in most of the cases they get away with it without even being noticed that they are crossdressing.

i like to see more women wearing dresses, even if for not so special occasions. it is rare nowadays, at least in our place, to see women wearing dresses. usually the get up is just shirt/blouse and jeans. i like jeans as it is flattering to the female shape, but the look already is very common. so when i see a lady wearing a dress, i tend to take another look to admire and appreciate.

each woman has a different shape. I have always looked better in a dress or skirt than in pants though I wear pants more often. |It is just more convenient to wear pants.

I think it really depends on the body frame of the person wearing the dress some are more suitable on pants and some on dress.

I don't often wear pants. I much prefer to wear a dress, or a skirt and top. Pants are so restricting and I feel less free in them. For this reason, I can't even bear to wear tights unless I'm going somewhere really, really special.
I like to wear casual, maybe denim skirts when I'm just hanging around at home or closeby. Otherwise, I love to dress up in special dresses, or skirts. I have every type imaginable. :-)
Thank you for this discussion MSK, and Brightest Blessings.

I like ladies to wear skirts or dress. When ladies wear skirts, I view it as beautiful, elegant and neat. I don't think it is old fashion because there are many designs of skirts in Singapore. So it appeals to my eyes when I see ladies with skirts.

i think girls look really beautiful in dresses, but i dont really care if they wear it. i think they should just wear whatever expresses themselves and whatever they feel comfortable in. i personally like girls in all things, skirts, pants and dresses. as long as they look nice and presentable.
i just dont like girls wearing like messed up pants and are exploting themselves like they are a prostatute

That depends on the place we are in. If i am at a temple i would like to see ladies in a Saree or Some dress which covers the whole body. If that is a movie theater then any thing goes. At the party i would like girls to be in pants or anything that makes them comfortable. Let them wear what ever they want but that shouldn't look odd to those who look. If some one wears Saree at a party place sounds old fashioned to me and if some one wear pants and t-tops at the temple i say that is really bad.

I personally wear dresses, because my family do not like wearing pants. But I like those who wear pants. I think ladies who are young and have a good figure look smarter in pants.
Here is another thing which I consider most imporatant, that is who is wearing the dress. Looking charming or looking dull totally depends on the personality of the person who is wearing it. So if a lady wears a dress or wears a pant does not matter, if she can carry the dress well.
I do not think that ladies who were dresses are old fashioned or who wear pants and trendy.
A lady can look fashionable while wearing a dress and the oppoiste is also true.
So while choosing a dress one should look to the mirror and the mirror really tells whether the person is looking presentable or not.

as a guy i don't mind seeing ladies wearing dresses. considering the fact that it is summer time here in the Philippines, wearing them is quite a trend right now. we can consider it as stylish as you have mentioned. however, the big "BUT" here is is it has to be colorful, meaning full of designs and patterns. i don't wanna see a pretty girl in an old-fashioned black-and-white type of dress that looks like it hasn't been worn in years. seeing ladies wearing dresses is kinda girly and quite sexy. sexy in a sense, you will never know what's under it. and i don't mean it in a bad, offensive way. if you have the body and the looks to back the dress up, people won't mind at all. It also depends on how you carry a dress. confidence is important. if you are the shy, timid type, people will look at you and wonder if that girl has a problem. you know what i am trying to say? to cut the long story short, wearing a dress tells a lot about a person's personality.

Yes, it's good to see ladies wearing a skirt or a dress not only on the church. Very few are now wearing a dress because of the change in lifestyle. But, a pant in ladies is also a good thing. So, it's just ok for me for ladies to wear pants or dress.

Yes, I love them wearing dress than pants because it's more lady like. Some are saying that they're not comfortable wearing it because they can't hardly move what they really like unlike in pants, they can do everything. But, it's more formal to see them and more dignified in their own special way.

Yes, I love wearing a dress or skirt. I wish we, as a society, could go back to the 20's-50's and actually dress like a woman and look like a woman. What was so wrong with "ladies" wearing a dress or skirt? It defined who we were and seperated us from the male population which was nice.
I honestly do not like being in the same boat as men. I am a woman and like to addressed as such and look the part. I also wish ladies worn hats again. All those hats were so lovely and gave each woman an outward personality that made people turn their heads in admiration.
It would be nice to see this era come back. My aunt makes hats for a living in Los Angeles and if hats really came back, she would have many, many clients.
