Improvements to the comment system

Digg needs a way to group similar comments for the articles, some articles will have a thousand diggs and hundreds of comments but with so many comments in so little time much is repeated and peoples time is definitely wasted trolling the comments for a gem. Somewhere along the line if social news is supposed to work 500 people have to be able to clearly collective define and rate their arguements.
