cockfigthing:is it unfair for the rooster to fight to death?

here in the philippines,cockfigthing is a favorite past time for men...even to some women whose onto it..theres always an issue unhuman to let 2 roosters with blades on there feet to figth to death.you?what do you think bout it?considering the fact that its considered as one of the traditions already...

I think its really inhuman to harm the animals. I think we got this practice of gambling from our Spanish ancestors. I cant understand too why others marvel when roosters fight each other, why would one enjoy watching animals hurting each other, its so violent. Same goes with the pitbulls that fight. I don't like boxing too and also wrestling. Violence is clearly shown on these sports.
