Medicine for curing alcoholism

There is a medication, but it doesn't cure it, you'll always be an alcholic. The medication just helps you through withdrawls. I came across the name of it the other day, now I can't find it. But, if you talk to your doctor about it, I'm sure he can tell you and possibly even perscribe it for you.
