does it really matter

if discussions are repeated does it really matter some of the newer members obviously wouldnt have known that they had and lets face it if you dont want to answer the second or third time around then leave it to others that do, but sometimes its good to repeat a topic people opinions change and it gives a secon or third chance to submit a different view tc blessed be

With so many members on this site it would be very difficult not to have repeated discussions. I don't think it matters if the discussions are repeated as long as they are not copied and pasted or as long as it is not somebody on a friends list who is posting the same or a similar discussion. I often respond to similar discussions as long as they haven't been posted by the same person.

in a sense no it doesnt. I guess the newer you are to the site the more you are likely to do it. However, i think we all have a duty to use the search function and work out how many other discussions are already active in the same subject
