strangers

I spent the years from 15 to 30 hitch-hiking everywhere and most of the time I had no difficulty getting rides and when I was driving I almost always stopped to give others a lift, but as the years went by and our world became more of a scary place I stopped picking up hitch-hikers and now I would not pickup anyone I don't know.
