how many CHAIRS in your DINING TABLE?

In our house right now, there's my Mom, my sister, my stepsister, my stepbrother, my uncle, my stepfather, and then of course there's me. So that makes seven people in my family that lives in my house. Well, you wouldn't believe it, but there are only four chairs in our dining table, and their are seven of us! You might ask, how do we manage to eat dinner together? Most of the time, we don't. It's a very rare occassion to find every member of my family in our house at the same time. There's always someone out somewhere during dinner time. Then, my baby sister doesn't really like to eat in the dining table, she just eats while roaming around the house. And even if we're in the house, we don't really eat at the same time because we eat whenever we want to. There's no set time for dinner. Our maid would usually just set the table buffet style, so whenever we feel like eating, we just go to the table, and grab a plate.

I have three chairs at the dining table. There is just my son and I so that is plenty. We actually quite often set up the t.v. trays and watch a movie and talk while we eat.

I actually only have two chairs but that's because I use a coffee table as a dining table. My condo unit is pretty small for a dining table. We're 3 in the family but it doesn't really matter if we don't have enough chairs to fit us all together during meals. My son, Rocky, sits on my lap as we eat and it makes things pretty cozy!
