i like CSI coz it interests me how they get to solve crimes (especially the science involved), warns me on how crimes could happen, and gives me an idea of criminals' psych. on top of it, i like how the show subtly injects humor and optimism amidst tough situations.

Oh I love CSI also. Warrick Brown and Katherine are my two favorites but I love all the characters. And your right it's rather interesting to see how crimes can be solved.

I think part of it has to do with the fact that we want to see that justice can happen. That the bad guys will get caught and that society will be a bit safer. It gives us some comfort that crime doesn't prevail. Add to that many of us like to solve mysteries. We want to figure out who did it along with the cops in the shows. Learning different ways to look at things and how to pick up on minute clues that we might not have otherwise. The combination of the two makes the shows rise in popularity.

Because they are very intresting and present the real life. i meand crimes happens everyday and it is nice to see how this crimes are solved or moreover how these crimes are prevented. Maybe it is exagerated but it is good to see and know about these things.
