how can I get a big star?

do you mean the star that is next to your name? that star is your ranting. you will usually get it after you reached your 100th post or 101st post here. all you have to do is to become active in responding to the discussions in here, and make a quality post to obtain the ranting that you want to have. it has different colors too depends on number you are.

The number on your star however may differ, being related to your relevance to the subject in discussion and the quality of your post. Being qualitative in your activity here can get you "+" from other members & "Best responses" and those are the very factors that may influence your number on your star, toward the maximum 10. You must have participate a hundred times to discussions to get a big star right next to your username. Then the one you started the discussion will rate your response. They will be the one who'll give you your rate. The star will only appear after you join a hundred discussions.
