Payment Question OK if Paypal account isn't yours?

Years ago I got blacklisted from Paypal because I of a transaction I had with a reported scammer on ebay. PayPal sucks, they wouldn't even hear me out and limited my account permanently. I have a friend who lets me use their PayPal account once in awhil (like for ebay) and am wondering if anyone else has their Paypal payments go to an account in someone elses's name (I'm thinking intl. people might?)...does it matter?
