In the past I always chose Nokia. Two years ago, I found Dopod and it's a smartphone. You just need to install software and then it can have many functions. Now I can listen to the music, watch movie, check the weather... I just can't leave it. After that, I just bought Dopod cellphones. One is 535 and the other is 710. They both work well until now.

Hey youless. I haven't used dopod yet. It's too expensive for me even though I am well aware that they do work well and fast. However I am not that fancy of their design. So far I only use Moto which is the first mobile and a smart phone too. It uses the linux system. I don't want to change now, not with my parents money. Lately I am a huge fan of Sharp. I love their design. Besides, their phone screen is extremely good and I enjoy their camera too.

I pay attention to the design and then the features. I want it to be beautiful and practical. And about smart phone, I think it's not defined by the version of the processor. It emphasized on the ability of adding application I think.

I had my first cellular phone way back 1999 or 2000 when my younger sibling gave me a Nokia 3210 as a gift. I used this model of Nokia for more than three years until it was broken. After that, I had another Nokia phone with the scroll function in the middle; I'm not quite sure what model it was. At present, I'm using a low model of Nokia phone. If I'm not mistaken, this is Nokia 1100. I'm not so particular with the model just as long as I could use it to send a message or call someone when I need to. Honestly, I don't use it regularly and my main purpose for having one is for business. I have to admit that I do engage in electronic loads and my primary clients are my officemates.
But if I were to choose between Nokia and other brands, I guess I'd still go for Nokia since I've already used it and I could say that I'm quite satisfied with its features.

I like smartphone running MS mobile, it will allow sync with Outlook calendar, tasks list and contact list. I am using a O2 xphone. And previous owned a Motorola mx200 which is also running on MS mobile OS.
I love it as I only need to carry one gadget around since the O2 xphone has part of the PDA functionality to keep me connected.

I like LG a lot, but I haven't really had much else. I had an AudioVox and a Samsung, but LG is very user-friendly and doesn't freeze on me like the others did sometimes.

Im also using Dopod now and i think its really worth it.. it really suits my lifestyle. i think i just need to install a few software for additional functions. Dopod is not a popular brand in the Philippines though... My husband bought mine when we were in Singapore.

In the past I'm Sony Ericsson fans. But now, whatever the brand, but Windows Mobile! Now, I love Windows Mobile OS.
Nokia has good feature with symbian. But.. Symbian is slow. If you have tried Windows or Palm, you will not use symbian anymore :D

Good morning, youless. I haven't heard about this brand yet. I like Nokia, since i always drop my phone on the ground. It's safe and sound, so i like it, although it's not very pretty. It's improving now, much better. And now s60 can do the things as watch tv/movie, log on QQ, listen to music etc. VERY GOOD!
Enjoy life~~

Haven't heard of that brand before. I have had motorolla and nokia models and I have stayed with these two brands ever since the mobile was invented. If they're that great as you described them, I hope it would be made available here in the Philippines soon.

I've never heard of that brand before! :0 But it sounds interesting and if it's good, I think it'll be in my country soon too (finland) and who knows, maybe I'll buy it too. [watching movies would be cool! Does it have internet too?] Currently I'm satisfied with my iPod: I can watch movies, listen to music etc. and when the iPohone arrives in my country, I'll get it for sure!! [Because I love cellphones AND iPods :DDD]
Well.. currently I have nokia 7373 (I think) and in the past I've owner a couple of nokias and a samsung. They're pretty good companies and I've always kind of preferred nokia, because it comes from my country.. :D
