I think they are an equal opportunist when it comes to stereotypes. They make fun of everybody!! Which I think is pretty cool. You can't take life to seriously and you need to be able to laugh at yourself every once in a while even it takes South Park to do it.

They push as far as they can, and then go a little farther. It's hilarious. It really shows the reality of some peoples ignorance, hate and stupidity all too well. Just when I think they can't get any worse, they do. And I love it. It never fails to make me laugh.

What they do is exposing bad habits, political issues and all kind of plain stupid human thinking and hysteria, in a very funny and parodical way. And they really succeed. But we must not forget that these are still real life issues, and we should try to edify the situation as possible... or we could just watch the damn hilarious show! :D

Nah, they don't really take racism, sexism, etc. that far. It's all in good humor. This show was meant to make fun of politics, religions, races, and etc. It's funny so I don't think people care all that much about it.

south park makes has no quarter when making fun of stereotypes, whether you're indian, an american indian, asian, or whatever the case may be. like the city wok restaurant, i think that's so funny. and the pokemon episode, where they make fun of japanese, well, that's poking humor at them, big time. south park has a great formula of making fun of everybody, because not only do they make fun of other races, being racist or whatever, they also make fun of themselves (americans) as well. they teach us to laugh at ourselves, like the rednecks of south park, that is SO funny. if some people think of it as going too far, well, you couldn't blame them. there are people who enjoy watching them poke fun at everyone. to each his own, really.

Hello everyone...South park characters seem to make fun of everything, equally, about all stereotypes..in that sense they are fair..however, in several cases they do "rip" on several celebrities (a little or too much) - for example Russell Crowe, Anglina Jolie, Tom Cruise and Paris Hilton to name a few. They do make hilarious comments, and a few true points are passed along, however one has to consider that in several parts of the world, other than the US, people are not aware of the current events in the US or the issues around certain celebrities and can find the comedy within the characters of south park rather harsh and even offensive in some points.
