I need some help, a woman here at work is getting married in June. We are having a party for her and everything. We have a decided on a group present but I would like to get her something just from me. But I have no idea what would be appropriate. I am not invited to the wedding (not that I would've gone anyways) but I would like to get her something. Let me tell you a little about her:
I have worked with her for 2 1/2 years. She has everything already, this is her second marriage. She is already a grandmother. She doesn't need the staple household items. I am at a loss, should I just give a personal card with money??

Why not get her a wedding photo album. You always have tons of photos taken and need somewhere to put them. Just a thought. I got one for a friend but I had it personalized with their names and the wedding date. She loved it.

Were any other co-workers invited? Maybe the wedding was just strictly family in no one from the workplace was invited. Anyway, a personal card with money is a way to go, as you cannot really go wrong with that. Either that, or maybe depending on how well you know her (2 1/2 years means that you might know her favorite stores & shops that she shops at.) you can always get her a gift card. It seems to be the most popular gift these days.

Everyone in the office was invited except for me and the hearing impaired woman. Honestly I have no clue what she does or where she shops because I end up walking away and tuning her out (oddly enough this is the "long winded lady" from my other post). I am going with the card and maybe a little cash-though I like the gift card idea. I love gift cards and they makes some really pretty ones. LOL :)

Now that ... Well, if everyone except two people were invited. Either it was a mistake, or if it was done purposely, well, maybe just a card. Based on the other post, I wonder what the groom's ears look like (if he still has them).
